Route your Pons fees in five minutes
Feeroute takes two transactions to set up. Here is what to prepare, what each step does, and what changes afterwards.
Before you start
- The wallet that receives your token's creator fees on Pons. For most tokens that is the wallet that launched it.
- A little ETH on Robinhood Chain for gas: creating the vault and routing the fees are two transactions.
- Each recipient's wallet address. Payouts cannot be reversed, so use wallets that can receive ETH and that you trust.
- A rough idea of the split. The split guide has examples you can load into the calculator.
The five steps
- 1Connect the fee walletOpen Route my fees and connect. Feeroute lists the Pons v2 tokens whose creator fees this wallet receives today.
- 2Set the splitAdd up to 10 recipients with a label each; labels are stored on-chain and shown to holders. Shares must add up to exactly 100%. Any recipient can get a 7-day or 30-day vest.
- 3Pick the protectionChoose a creator cap (25%, 50%, 75%, or none), the most your own wallet can ever hold, and a timelock (24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, or 7 days) for every later change. Both are fixed for the life of the vault.
- 4Sign twiceThe first transaction creates your vault through the Feeroute factory, with your split live at once. The second, on the Pons factory (
transferCreatorFeeRecipient), makes the vault your token's fee recipient. From then on only the vault can move the fees, after the timelock. - 5Share itYour public report lives at
/r/<token>. Put the badge from Embed on your site and the link in your bio.
Fees earned before you routed
Credit the Pons escrow already recorded for your wallet stays yours. Claim it from Pons as before; only fees credited after the switch go to the vault.
After launch
- Sweeps run every hour once the vault and the Pons escrow hold at least your minimum (0.001 ETH unless you change it). Anyone can sweep sooner, including you from the dashboard.
- The dashboard, Analytics, Holders, Recipients, and Activity pages show the vault and the token. Your report shows the same to everyone.
- To change the split, propose it on Splits. It applies after your timelock, and holders see it on your report and on Changes while it waits.
- Teammates with a vest take what has unlocked from Earnings.
Want to stop? Propose a route back to your wallet on Splits. It goes through the same public timelock, then the vault sweeps one last time and hands the fee recipient role back on Pons.
