Glossary

The words used across Feeroute and Pons, in plain language.

Basis point (bps)
One hundredth of a percent. 10,000 bps is 100%; a 45% share is 4,500 bps. Splits are stored in whole basis points.
Bonding curve
The Pons contract a new token trades against before it graduates. Every buy and sell on it pays the creator tax and the swap fee.
Claimable
ETH the vault holds for one recipient: a payment its wallet refused during a sweep, or vested ETH set aside when new fees arrived. It is released with release().
Creator cap
The largest share the vault owner's own address may hold, fixed when the vault is created. It does not cover other wallets the owner controls.
Creator tax
A per-trade charge on a Pons curve that goes entirely to the token's creator fee recipient. Set per token, for example 1.5%.
Fee escrow
The Pons contract that holds creator fees after the Pons operator sweeps them out of a curve. The recipient, here the vault, withdraws with claim().
Fee recipient
The address Pons credits a token's creator fees to. Routing makes the vault the fee recipient; after that only the vault can change it.
Graduation
When a curve has raised its target (for example 4.2 ETH), trading moves to a Uniswap v4 pool. Fees after graduation are not tracked by Feeroute yet.
Owner
The wallet that controls a vault: it proposes and cancels changes and can rescue ERC-20 tokens. Ownership moves in two steps: nominate, then accept.
Pons admin timelock
Pons' own 72-hour delay for its admin to change a token's fee recipient. Feeroute cannot block it, so reports show any such change while it waits.
Protocol share
The part of the swap fee Pons keeps. With a 30% share and a 1% fee, the creator gets 0.7% of each trade from the fee.
Release
Sending a recipient what it can take now (unlocked vesting plus claimable ETH). Anyone can call it; the ETH only goes to the recipient.
Route
Where Pons sends a token's creator fees. A route change away from a vault waits out the vault's timelock.
Split
The list of recipients, their shares, labels, and vesting periods that a vault pays by. Shares always add up to exactly 100%.
Split version
A counter that goes up each time a new split goes live. Every sweep records the version it used.
Sweep
One transaction that claims the vault's ETH from the Pons escrow and pays every recipient by the split. Anyone can call it; a bot does so hourly.
Swap fee
A per-trade fee on a Pons curve shared between the creator and the Pons protocol. Set per token, for example 1%.
Timelock
The delay between proposing a split or route change and when it can apply, fixed at creation (up to 30 days). It is what lets holders react.
Vault
The Feeroute contract a creator owns for one token. It receives the creator fees and pays them out by the split.
Vesting
Paying a recipient's share linearly over a period instead of at once. New fees blend into the running schedule; see the vesting guide.
